Boy@WordShop provides translation, interpretation, narration, and tape/DVD transcription services.In addition to our main services of English/German translation and Japanese/ English interpretation, we have recently stepped up our efforts for Japanese/German interpretation, Japanese/German translation as well as for our Japanese/English translation services.

1. Ordinary Text Translation（Japanese, English, German）

What is an ordinary text?

It refers to short e-mails or short letters, which do not require special knowledge.

Our track record includes the following;

E-mails and letters relating to home-stay greetings and thank-you notes, study-abroad arrangements, ceremonial occasions, pets, international exchange projects organized by public offices as well as general business letters.

2. Technical Text Translation （Japanese, English, German）

What is a technical text?

It refers to a text which requires technical knowledge or experience or research. Technical texts include manuals, product catalogs, newspaper/magazine articles, research papers, and websites.

Our English & German Translation track record includes the following;

Machine tools and other technical translations for the following companies’ literature:

Yamazaki Mazak, Yamaha, Suzuki, Toshiba, Victor, NEC, Hitachi, Komatsu,

ANA, Clarion, Eisai, Toray, TEAC, Alpine.

Our Japanese & English Translation track record includes the following;

Translations relating to design, architecture, the construction of theme parks and hotels, hotel management, airline websites, a sports company’s website, stage props, car design, contracts, construction machinery, and the minutes of meetings.

Our Japanese & German Translation track record includes the following;

We translated the Snow Peak camping products catalog, and translated the presentation material for thin display equipment as well as translating the literature for construction materials.

3. Interpretation (Japanese, English, German)

Our interpretation services include escorting (such as to/within a factory), business meetings, presentations, conferences and seminars.

Our Japanese & English Interpretation track record includes the following;

Consecutive interpretation related to construction projects at theme parks and hotels in Japan and Hong Kong, steel product exhibitions, cosmetics exhibitions, fashion exhibitions, machine installation, courtesy visits to public offices, telecommunication business, investment, theatrical events, and telephone interpreting.

Our English & German Interpretation track record includes the following;

We provided simultaneous interpretation at a meeting of dealers in consumer electronics.

Our Japanese & German Interpretation track record includes the following;

We provided consecutive interpretation at a demonstration for agricultural product processing machines.

4. Narration (German)

We provided German narration services for company guides, product promotions, etc.

5. Tape/DVD transcription (German)

The German transcription services we provided in the past include tapes and DVDs of interviews with musicians and athletes, as well as for movies, lectures, conferences.
